Visiting Assistant Professor
Courtney Cooper holds a Ph.D. from the University of Idaho in the Water Resources Graduate Program (2020) and an M.A. in Geography and Planning from Appalachian State University (2015). Prior to joining Berry, she completed her postdoc at Penn State University. She is trained as an environmental social scientist and applies her skills when engaging communities in conversations about resilience and sustainability. Applying participatory research methods allows her to work with communities as they develop strategies to adapt to climate change and other environmental challenges.
