Assistant Professor, Computer Science
Xiaomeng Ye is an Assistant Professor of Computer Science. He is teaching Discrete Structures and Designing Programs and plans on teaching a research skills in AI course. He is dedicated to supporting students with marginalized identities (such as women in STEM, people of color, LGBTQ+). His research focuses on case-based reasoning, symbolic AI, machine learning and the more general field of Artificial Intelligence.
Dr. Ye received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Indiana University Bloomington. Born and raised in China, he came to the US for college and graduate education. Dr. Ye has lived in Ohio, Indiana, Utah and now Georgia.
When he is not teaching or researching, he is with his family. If he manages to escape his family, he is playing games or rock climbing.
