The Berry College Evans School of Humanities will sponsor a major international conference in England next month.
Berry Associate Professor of History Matthew Stanard is co-organizing “The End of Empire: European Popular Responses” Conference at Woodbrooke Quaker Study Centre and the University of Birmingham Jan. 11-13.
The three-day international conference will feature scholars from the U.S., U.K., Germany, The Netherlands, Australia, Denmark, Belgium and France to present their original research on the cultural legacy of the imperial past in European popular culture.
