Krystin O’Mara, an up-and-coming classical guitarist, will perform at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 25 in Frost Chapel.
O’Mara, who is based in Atlanta, has performed as a soloist and chamber musician in many concert series across the U.S., all while teaching and recording. Described as “someone to watch” by Cleveland Classical.com, she is known for her keen musical talent and strong technical skills. Her first solo CD, “OBSESSION”, was recorded to critical acclaim and features a piece written for her by award-winning composer Viet Cuong. O’Mara received advanced degrees from the Cleveland Institute of Music and the Peabody Conservatory of Music.
The concert is free and open to the public.
