Theology Professor Vincent Bacote will discuss faithful politics and the political obligations of Christians as part of the Berry College Lumen Lecture Series at 7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 29, in the Krannert Ballroom.
Bacote is an associate professor of theology and the director of the Center for Applied Christian Ethics at Wheaton College in Wheaton, Ill. He is also a fellow of the Center for Public Justice, and a member of the American Academy of Religion, the Evangelical Theological Society and the Society of Christian Ethics.
He has authored several books with his most recent ""The Political Disciple: A Theology of Public Life."" Bacote has also contributed to other books, journals and articles and is a regular columnist for Comment, a publication that reviews today's social architecture.
