Berry College Animal Science Professor George Gallagher will explore all aspects of the white-tailed deer population in his lecture at 10 a.m. (Saturday) June 16 at Oak Hill & The Martha Berry Museum.
Gallagher’s lecture, “White-tailed deer – We love them ---- We love them less!” will cover the basic life cycle of deer as well as information about his 20 years of deer research at Berry. The lecture is the fifth and final installment of the five-part Sanctuary at Berry Lecture Series as part of the museum’s current exhibition, ""Sanctuary at Berry: Wildlife Photography by Gena Flanigen."" The lectures focus on the research and experience of faculty members with various species found on the Berry campus.
