A Christian philosopher will discuss faith and happiness as at 7 p.m. Oct. 10 in the Berry College Spruill Ballroom.
Jennifer Frey is an assistant philosophy professor at the University of South Carolina, with a research focus on theologian Thomas Aquinas and the philosophy of happiness. She has studied the intersection of the philosophy of action, ethics, and meta-ethics. Frey has co-edited a book titled "Self-Transcendence and Virtue." She also writes for The Virtue Blog and hosts a philosophy and literature podcast called "Sacred and Profane Love."
