The women’s choir performed a preview of their Georgia American Choral Directors Association performance. Alongside the women’s choir was the men’s choir, the Berry Voices, the Berry Ballad Girls, and the Berry Tones. The men’s choir is led by Associate Professor of Music and Director of Choral Activities Paul Neal.
Neal has conducting experiences at the National Cathedral in Washington, D.C. and the Lincoln Center’s Alice Truly Hall in New York City. In addition, Neal also has had choral compositions and arrangements published by Alliance Music Publications and Walton Music Publishing.
The women’s choir is led by Associate Professor of Music and Director of Music Education Stefanie Cash. Cash has a professional membership with the American Choral Directors Association, the National Association for Music Education, and the Georgia Music Educators Association. She also serves as a guest clinician for numerous district and All-State honor choirs.
The Berry Ballad Girls and the Berry Tones are student-led ensembles. For this concert, they demonstrated music from the collegiate Acappella tradition.
“The choirs at Berry continue to amaze me with their hard work and talent. I know that future audiences will be entertained and inspired by the fine singing that takes place,” Neal said.
