Berry College’s Department of Music presented an evening with flautist and faculty member Steven Keith.
Keith, who performed at Bell Recital Hall in Ford Auditorium, introduced the audience to diverse composers deserving recognition for their contributions to the classical repertoire.
Keith has performed with Atlanta-based Orchestra Noir and is the principal flutist of the Metro Atlanta Philharmonic. He has played concertos with the Metro Atlanta Philharmonic and ensembles at Shorter University and Jacksonville State University.
He received a bachelor’s degree in music education from Jacksonville State University and a master of music education in flute performances from Georgia State University. He is working on a doctorate of musical arts in flute performance at the University of Alabama.
