A musician from the Houston Symphony who has played on major soundtracks, joined the Berry College Wind Ensemble performance on Jan. 24
Guest Soloist Mark Nuccio has been the Principal Clarinet of the Houston Symphony since 2016 after 17 years with the New York Philharmonic. He performed with the New York Philharmonic in the award-winning PBS series “Live from Lincoln Center” and toured internationally.
His work has also been featured in several motion picture soundtracks and television commercials. Notably, his work has been included in the soundtracks for “Failure to Launch”, “the Manchurian Candidate”, and “Hitch”.
He is currently on the faculty for the Brevard Music Center, University of Houston's Moore School of Music, and the University of Miami’s Frost School of Music.
He joined guest conductors Rite Wilder, music education workshop coordinator, and Michael Kobito, who won Georgia Teacher of the Year for his work as an AP Music Theory teacher and the high school band director at Woodland High School.
