Berry College is constructing Morgan-Bailey Hall to house the new PA program, among other disciplines. The design of this new health sciences building prioritizes a comprehensive and immersive learning experience for both nursing and PA students, integrating practical skills training with traditional classroom education.
The first floor of the building is primarily dedicated to the BSN nursing program, in addition to space for a high-fidelity simulation lab, which will be shared between nursing and the PA programs. The second floor is dedicated to teaching space for the PA program and nursing and PA faculty and staff offices.
The second floor has a large (~3500 square foot) PA multipurpose room for teaching and demonstrations, including 20 exam tables for skills and physical assessment and flexible seating for lectures, group activities, and much more. Additionally, found on the second floor are four private exam rooms to mimic traditional patient exam rooms and an operating room suite that the PA program will use. The second floor has ample storage space, a distinct student lounge and study space, and conference rooms for student and faculty use.
