Spring Events at Berry

Berry College Choir ushers in the spring season with Sing We and Chant It! concert on April 10.

The Berry College Concert Choir celebrates the spring season with its annual Spring Concert on Sunday, April 10.
The concert, which is free and open to the public, begins at 3 p.m. in the College Chapel.

The Concert Choir’s program is inspired by the musical fundamentals of the Gregorian Chant and features a varied selection of musical pieces by Morley, Massenet, Chilcott, and Hogan. The program will also showcase the chapel’s new organ and piano.

“It’s a lot of fun preparing for this,” said Eric Eaton, a senior music business major and member of the Concert Choir, “I’m learning so much from the different composers and variety of music selected for the show.”

The concert will be directed by Paul Neal, associate professor of music and director of choral activities. This will be Neal’s first time directing the Berry College Spring Concert. He joined the Berry faculty last year from Valdosta State University.
