"Nashville" star and Julliard-trained Broadway actor David Alford will perform Saturday (Jan. 27) at Berry College.
Alford, who is also a playwright, and Berry students will present his reader's theatre piece “The Star Quilt.” Alford has appeared as Bucky Dawes in the ABC/CMT series “Nashville” for the last five seasons.
“The Star Quilt” is a holiday story of self-discovery. Regan is a young New Yorker struggling to with the end of a relationship when she comes across a fragment of a treasured childhood memory: a piece of a star quilt inherited from her southern grandmother.
The moving piece is appropriate for all ages. It will be at 7:30 p.m. in Evans Auditorium and admission is free and open to the public.
The event is sponsored by the Berry College Theatre Company.
