A principal tubist for the Atlanta Ballet and Atlanta Opera Orchestras recently performed at Berry College's Bell Recital Hall.
Tubist Don Strand has been affiliated in the Southeastern music scene for nearly 40 years, performing with orchestras, chamber ensembles, Broadway shows, recording groups and headliners such as Ray Charles, Bruce Springsteen and Hans Zimmer. Strand graduated from the University of Georgia with a bachelor’s degree in music education and teaches at Lee University in Cleveland, Tenn.
