Berry College Professor of Music Kris Carlisle recently performed at the Bell Recital Hall at Ford Auditorium.
The music included contemporary pieces with interesting techniques that go beyond the regular use of the piano, including one piece that contained a poetry narration between sections of the piece. Carlisle is a professional pianist with teaching interests in music theory, contemporary music, and solo and collaborative piano. He has been teaching at Berry for 18 years and has been playing piano since the age of 5.
